The motto is “Deus Meus et Omnia" (My God and All) The shield is surrounded by the galero and tassels of a bishop.
The shield itself contains a tau cross symbolizing his loyalty to following Christ. The fleur-de-lis symbolize his devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The three blue bees symbolize the Holy Trinity and the origin of his family name.

Archbishop Gabriel was born in California.
​
Archbishop Gabriel has served in parochial ministry and chaplaincy for over twenty years prior to his Consecration to the Episcopacy.
​
He serves in pastoral ministry at St. Ignatius of Antioch Orthodox Church. He continues to serve with the Civil Air Patrol-United States Air Force Auxiliary, San Diego City Fire Rescue, and American Red Cross. Archbishop Gabriel is retired from the California State Military Reserve chaplaincy.
